What is live anion polymerization? I've seen this term in an article. Sounds intriguing, but I have no idea what does it stands for.

Living polymerization is a type of polymerization in which only the initiation and growth of the chain occurs, and the restriction of chain growth missing. For a long time it was believed that living cationic polymerization could not be realized due to the high activity of carbocations, which, along with with chain growth, to irreversible chain breakage and chain transfer
Whoa, thanks!
@chaoticgood I wonder if you could send a link to this article. I would like to know what they are investigating there. I'd love to read it.
Anyway, I've heard of the live anionic polymerization of styrene.
I only know that polyacrylamide has anionic and cationic properties.
@cherry as far as I remember, polyacrylamides are obtained mainly by radical polymerization, not ionic
@elizaveta-msu I checked again and you are right, thanks for the correction.
