Hello everyone! I have heard that vitamin D, like steroid hormones, can penetrate the nucleus of the cell and affect gene function. Are there any other vitamins that can affect genes?

Vitamin A (retinoic acid can bind to specific receptors in the cell nucleus), vitamin C and vitamin E (affect gene expression).

@till-eulenspiegel Are vitamins should be lipophilic enough for crossing the membrane and going to nucleus?
