I agree with the opinion above)
No, antidepressants are not addictive. By definition, addiction is the fact that, despite the biopsychosocial effects of a substance, you continue to use it.

Interesting question. I could say that no, because it's not a stimulants-based drug like amphetamines' family (Ritalin, Adderall and etc.), but you can (as a user) stick to antidepressant's effect. I can say that most of the time it's a psychological addiction, not physical one. But sometimes the antidepressants (ADs) have strong withdrawal syndrome like Venlafaxine. The stronger an AD, the stronger the withdrawal syndrome. In result, I haven't heard anything about addiction to ADs and people, who addicted to it.
