Is there any way to change the position, in which reaction of electrophilic exchange will proceed? It seems like that if there is an oriental functional groups in the ring, option of atac position are quite limited.

@argentum If I understood correctly you imply that nature of electrophile influence the position in which electrophilic substitution is going to proceed. It can be true in terms of steric difficulties, but if we are talking about mechanism, only functional groups in aromatic ring influence position of the attack

@chaoticgood Perhaps you misunderstood me, initially I meant this, that deputies determine the position of electrophile attacks
