Hi everyone. I wanted to know how do you wash your laboratory glass after reactions with metals? I saw so many different approaches and wanted to collect some statistics.

Hi, what reactions do you mean for example?
We have used simple technique:
Wash the glass with tap water and soap;
then several times with distilled water;
finally, rinse with acetone
@igorgordiy That's probably not enough. Metals should be erased by chemical means
The reaction mixture is filtered from palladium-carbon through celite. Then wash the flask with water and rinse with acetone.
In our lab we soak reaction flasks in 40% alkali solution, then wash as usual. If it's visually not enough we use K2Cr2O7 + H2SO4
