Hi everyone! Do you know, what substances are currently used as anti-icing reagents?

If we are talking about car windshields it is usually a mixture of methanol, ethanol and isopropanol as a base, and some surfactants and fragrance. It's still very affordable and trustful composition

I couldn't find any info about antifreeze for planes. Recently watched from a plane window how it was covered with the solution. It was a two part formula. And I loved how one part was pink and another green in order to see what space have been covered

what's about anti-icing reagents on the roads? they usually cause extremely negative reactions by pedestrians and drivers
